Davis, a native of West London, was wearing a grey prison sweater and limited his speaking to the short hearing to confirmation of his facts.

In order to guarantee the “quickest feasible date” for the case’s subsequent court hearings, Mr. Justice Sweeney said that it was crucial.

A provisional trial date of February 27 of the next year has been set, and a plea and trial preparation hearing will take place on December 23.
