Ikoyi building collapse: We are living haphazardly in Nigeria and subjected to so much emotional trauma – Media personality, Stephanie Coker

Stephanie Coker, a media personality, has stated that human life no longer has value in Nigeria, where people die cheaply from preventable causes.

This was spoken by a mother of one in response to the sad Ikoyi building collapse, which has taken 40 lives so far.

“We are living in a haphazard manner in Nigeria and are experiencing a great deal of emotional stress,” she added.

Because bare minimal standards are nonexistent in most sectors in Nigeria, we must pray about everything. Citizens have become numb to some of the most heinous collisions. It’s unusual for a trailer to collide with a vehicle. It is unusual for a structure to just collapse.

I couldn’t even sleep last night just thinking about the human beings trapped in Ikoyi. There needs to be more value placed on ALL human life in Nigeria.
