House of Reps adopts 2021 Electoral Act

Nigeria’s House of Representatives has considered and adopted the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2021, recommitted to the House today Wednesday 19th January, 2021.

The House amended the Close 84(2) that candidate for an election shall emerge through either direct or indirect primaries by political parties.
