Holly Willoughby has made a return to social media after her absence during the upheaval surrounding Phillip Schofield’s departure from This Morning.

Although she returned to the morning show on Monday, she had not posted anything on her personal Instagram account since May 18.

A Reassuring Instagram Post:

On Tuesday, Holly marked her return to Instagram by sharing a photo of herself in the dress she would be wearing for the live broadcast.

She mentioned that she would be hosting alongside Josie Gibson and that Sarah Beeny would be a guest, discussing an important and personal documentary.

Holly also credited Ghost Fashion for her dress.

Emotional Return to This Morning:

Holly expressed her emotions of feeling “shaken, troubled, let down, and worried” as she made an emotional comeback to This Morning on Monday, following Phillip Schofield’s departure from the ITV program.

The TV presenter had taken a break and was spotted in Portugal with her family during the half-term break.

Schofield’s Affair Revelation:

During interviews last week, Schofield revealed to The Sun and BBC that Willoughby was unaware of his “unwise, but not illegal” affair with a younger ITV employee.

This clarified that Holly was not aware of the situation.

Holly was joined on screen by Josie Gibson and expressed her gratitude to viewers for their support.

ITV boss Dame Carolyn McCall has been summoned to appear before a parliamentary committee on June 14 to address questions about the broadcaster’s approach to safeguarding and complaint handling in the aftermath of Schofield’s exit from the show.
