Michael Kors Watch Hunger Stop 2023 Campaign Features Halle Berry and Kate Hudson
Spotlight on Hunger
Michael Kors is turning its focus toward a pressing global issue—hunger. The philanthropic initiative, Watch Hunger Stop, marks its tenth anniversary with a compelling ad campaign featuring the star power of Halle Berry and Kate Hudson.
Halle Berry, a dedicated supporter of the initiative since 2013, and Kate Hudson, who joined in 2015, take center stage in this year’s campaign. Their involvement not only graces the campaign but also lends authenticity—they have witnessed the efforts of the World Food Programme firsthand, with Berry visiting Nicaragua and Hudson traveling to Cambodia.
Minimalist Imagery with Impact
The campaign adopts a minimalist approach to allow the message to shine. Renowned photographer Cliff Watts captures both actresses in a striking light, with a neutral backdrop enhancing the visual storytelling and emphasizing the campaign’s mission.
Fashion with a Cause
The special-edition collection, launching on October 1, transcends mere fashion; it represents a mission in fabric and metal. Collaborating with New York-based creative agency Sang Bleu, the collection comprises a watch, an organic cotton T-shirt, and a recycled canvas tote.
Geometric Flair and Optimism
Maxime Plescia-Büchi, Creative Director at Sang Bleu, adds a touch of geometric flair to the campaign with a heart-shaped globe graphic. This design perfectly aligns with Michael Kors’ optimistic brand identity while highlighting the World Food Programme’s signature blue color.
Every purchase from this collection makes a philanthropic impact—each tote sold provides 216 meals, and every watch purchase translates to 200 meals for children in need. In addition to this campaign, explore Michael Kors’ recently unveiled Fall 2023 campaign for more from the brand.
