The event happened on Tuesday, August 23, about noon, and according to SAPS, no injuries have been recorded. Authorities are presently looking into the shooting’s motivation.
Authorities were summoned to the location not long after bullets were fired outside the school, according to Sergeant Roxanne Gibb, a spokesman for the Eldorado Park Police Station, according to IOL. Students were present outside the school at the time.
When the police responded to the principal’s call, the armed individuals had already left. Thank goodness, nobody was hurt. We will continue to monitor the situation closely,” added Gibb.
