Governor Inuwa utilized the platform to spotlight Gombe State’s remarkable strides in healthcare and its steadfast dedication to advancing universal health coverage, emphasizing the state’s commitment to citizen welfare.

Structural Reforms and Key Initiatives

Highlighting the government’s efforts, the Governor outlined various measures introduced to restructure the health sector, including the establishment of crucial entities like the Hospital Management Board, Drug Management Agency, and others.

Grassroots Healthcare and Initiatives

Governor Inuwa stressed the importance of grassroots health coverage, highlighting initiatives like the revitalization of primary healthcare facilities across the state and the development of referral hospitals.

Pro-Poor Healthcare Initiatives

The Governor discussed pro-poor initiatives such as allocating 1% of total revenue to provide healthcare services for the most vulnerable and the implementation of biometric attendance for Gombe State employees, including medical staff.
