The 45th Annual Spiritual Convention of God’s Ministry International Incorporated Salvation City in New Ogbe-Ijoh Warri began with praises and song ministrations by the congregation on the final day of the week-long event.
The Bible, according to Pastor Edwin Boyi, is a two-edged sword that may both rescue and destroy.

The priest, who stated that the late Evangelist S.Y. Mamamu, the church’s spiritual father, always preached the pure Word of God, warned the congregation not to be mislead by phony persons claiming to be men and women of God.

He equally called on Christians to desist from disobeying God’s word as there are consequences.

Reading the Policy Statement of the church, Mr Bubarayi Mamamu-Ibani called on President Mohammadu Buhari to introduce more people-oriented policies and programmes in order to alleviate the harsh economic realities in the country.
He said that the Niger Delta which serves as the springboard for the nation’s economy should be given deserving attention with the federal government addressing the issues of degradation, underdevelopment, shorelines protection in coastal communities amongst others.

Some members of the church, Mrs Claria Mamamu Ibani and Mr Solomon Doromo, who shared their experiences at the week-long spiritual convention said that it was indeed an awesome experience in the presence of God.
