After some time, the friend shared her plan with Mark.According to local sources, the pair behind the failed acrobatic equestrian performance Valitar had a tumultuous history marked by unresolved divorce papers and allegations of domestic violence.Days after Mark claimed his wife solicited a hit on him, he claims she set fire to their $5 million home on Rancho Reposo in ritzy Del Mar.According to her attorney, Tatyana’s financial situation had worsened after the divorce settlement required her to reduce her monthly expenditures to $12,000 from $24,000. In a divorce petition filed in July, Tiffany Brown, Tatyana’s attorney, detailed her client’s financial hardships.

Extreme financial stress is being felt by the wife. Her lawyer said she was unable to adjust to her new, more austere lifestyle since she and her husband regularly splurged $30,000 in a single evening.She estimated her husband’s expensive car collection, which included not one but two Rolls Royces, to be worth over $1 million.She also said that Mark has more than $8 million in assets that he might liquidate to provide for her.She filed papers detailing terrifying allegations of abuse, including being held at gunpoint and chased with a knife around their home.

In addition, Tatyana claimed that he witnessed his friend threatening her with a gun before he assaulted her.Mark denied the allegations made in her petition to The Coast News. Mark claims that Tatyana set a fire in July at their home in the 4600 block of Rancho Reposo, prompting the Del Mar Fire Department to react. The interior of the home was reduced to ash in the fire, and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation, according to fire authorities who spoke with The Coast News.

Tatyana claimed in one of the divorce papers that she was present when the fire started but that she did not witness its origin. When the couple debuted their ‘equine-human acrobatics performance’ Valitar at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in 2012, they made headlines for the first time in a decade.Vendors were left vulnerable after the show was canceled without warning.The two started a cycling studio in 2015 called Rhythm and Power, but they shut it down in 2016.
