Florida Woman Arrested After Chilling Videos Show Her Giggling as Her Boyfriend Suffocates Inside a Suitcase While Pleading for Help

In a chilling case out of Florida, disturbing cellphone videos have surfaced showing Sarah Boone, a 46-year-old woman, laughing as her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., pleads for help while trapped inside a suitcase.

This unsettling footage has drawn widespread attention and raised serious questions about the events leading to Torres’s tragic death.

The Incident Unfolds

Boone was arrested in February 2020 after she claimed that she had passed out following a night of drinking, during which the couple decided to play a game of hide-and-seek.

According to her account, the couple was enjoying each other’s company at their home in Winter Park, Florida, when things took a dark turn.

Boone told the police that she had zipped Torres, 42, inside a suitcase and fell asleep.

However, the videos captured a different story.

The clips reveal Torres struggling inside the suitcase, desperately gasping, “I can’t f*ing breathe.”

Instead of helping him, Boone can be heard laughing and mocking him.

“For everything you’ve done to me, fk you, stupid,” she responded, further escalating the tension.

As Torres continued to plead for help, Boone chillingly retorted, “That’s what I feel like when you cheat on me.”

The Aftermath and Legal Battles

The videos depict two distinct angles of the suitcase as Torres continues to cry out for assistance.

Investigators were puzzled about how he could have suffocated in the confined space.

Boone maintained that the whole scenario was an accident that occurred during their drunken game.

She explained that before the incident, they had been painting, working on a puzzle, and enjoying glasses of Woodbridge Chardonnay.

When it was her turn to hide, Boone claimed she went upstairs to the shower.

Upon returning downstairs, she allegedly found Torres in the living room, and they both agreed to zip him inside the suitcase.

Boone asserted that she had left two of his fingers protruding from the zipper for safety.

Despite her claims of innocence, Boone faces a second-degree murder charge and has pleaded not guilty.

Recently, she rejected a plea deal offered by the state as her trial approaches.

Jury selection is set to begin on October 14, and if convicted, she could face a life sentence.

Courtroom Drama Continues

In a bizarre twist, Boone recently requested professional hair and makeup for her trial, but this request was denied, highlighting the unusual nature of her court proceedings.

Since her arrest, she has taken on the role of her own attorney for much of the process, but she is currently represented by her ninth lawyer after a string of others either quit or were removed.

Her latest attorney, James Owens, has argued that Boone suffers from battered spouse syndrome, pointing to Torres’s history of domestic violence, including a battery charge from 2018 stemming from a drunken altercation between the couple.

As the trial date approaches, many are left wondering what the future holds for Boone and the legacy of this tragic incident.
