The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup™  2022 draw took place today, unveiling the path to triumph for some of the world’s top young female players and national teams later this year.

Hosts India will open the competition against the United States, joining Brazil and Morocco in Group A. Spain, which won the last FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2018, was placed in Group C with Colombia, Mexico, and China PR.

With less than four months until the tournament begins in India, the future stars of the women’s game will take to the pitch at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup™ in India between 11 and 30 October across three Host Cities – Bhubaneswar, Goa, and Navi Mumbai.

Matches at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 will also be streamed live on FIFA+ (https://fifa.fans/3QJKTJC) later this year in selected markets (please check your local listings).

Former US Women’s National Team player and FIFA Women’s World Cup winner Heather O’Reilly, former New Zealand national team coach Ricki Herbert, FIFA Director of Tournaments Jaime Yarza, and Sarai Bareman, FIFA Chief Women’s Football Officer, participated in the presentation of the Official Draw with host Mollie Kmita.
