Emergence of Ododo as Kogi governor ’ll bring greater development – Group

The Ayetoro Gbede Youths for Good Governance in Kogi says the emergence of Usman Ododo as Governor-elect of and Salifu Joel as Deputy Governor-elect will bring greater development to the state.

The Coordinator of the group, Mr Olumobi Adewale, said this in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday.

According to Adewale, the group is thrilled to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Ododo and his Joel.

“Your resounding win is a testament to your exceptional leadership qualities, unwavering dedication and the trust and confidence that the people of Kogi have placed on you.

“We are immensely proud of your achievements knowing that your victory will pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for our beloved state.

“Your commitment to good governance, inclusivity and sustainable development has resonated deeply with the youth of Kogi,’’ he said.

Adewale said the people believed that under Ododo’s leadership, the state would thrive in various sectors including education, healthcare, infrastructure development and job creation.

“Your campaign was marked by a steadfast determination to address the challenges facing our state and to create an enabling environment for our youth to excel.

“Your proposed policies and initiatives have inspired hope and ignited a sense of optimism among the Ayetoro Gbede Youths and the entire Kogi,’’ he said.

Adewale expressed confidence Ododo would work tirelessly to fulfill his promises and create opportunities that would empower the youths to uplift the communities and transform Kogi.

He said, “Your victory is not just a personal triumph but a victory for all of us who believe in the power of leadership that prioritises the welfare and aspirations of the people.
