Elena Cardone Starts Donation Drive to Assist Trump in Settling $355M Debt to New York State

Elena Cardone, wife of entrepreneur Grant Cardone, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help former President Donald Trump pay off the $355 million debt imposed by Judge Arthur Engoron in New York.

This ruling stemmed from Trump’s misrepresentation of his property values.

In addition to the financial penalty, Judge Engoron also prohibited Trump from serving as a company director in New York or obtaining bank loans in the state for three years.

Although these sanctions were imposed, Trump avoided the dissolution of some of his companies, which could have led to bankruptcy.

Trump’s Response and Intentions to Appeal

Trump, speaking from his Florida estate, expressed his intention to appeal the ruling, calling it a “very sad day” for the country.

Judge Engoron’s decision cited past allegations of misconduct, particularly referencing the Trump Organization’s involvement in a criminal tax fraud case in 2022.

The GoFundMe Statement

The GoFundMe page set up by Elena Cardone includes a statement in which she expresses unwavering support for Trump, portraying him as a victim of unfair treatment by the New York judicial system.

She characterizes Trump as a champion of American values, claiming that the legal battles he faces are an assault on the principles of fairness and due process.

Elena Cardone’s statement urges Americans to stand with Trump in defense against a system that she believes is attempting to silence him and undermine fundamental freedoms.

The fundraiser, she argues, is not just about raising money for Trump’s settlement but is a call to action for all patriots to unite in support of a man who has fought for their beliefs.
