Singer and actress Anlia Etzebeth has shared photographs celebrating the first birthday of her daughter with Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth.
In an Instagram post published on Thursday, 22 October, Anlia marked the milestone with a heartfelt message dedicated to the couple’s youngest child. The celebration took place alongside the beach.
Mother Pens Heartfelt Message to Her Daughter
Reflecting on her daughter’s first year, Anlia expressed her amazement at how quickly the time had passed and praised the little girl’s personality.
“The Magical ONE Our precious blue eyed girl… How are you a whole 1 year old!? 🥹 In your eyes, everything and everyone is just fine and beautiful,” she wrote.
She continued by describing her daughter’s spirit as gentle and beautiful, expressing her hope that the child would continue to recognise the beauty in the world.
“Your spirit is the one of the softest softest, deepest deep and most beautiful beautiful…. May you always see the magic in everything and let the beautiful light that God has given you shine… What a privilege to be your Mom and Dad,” Anlia added.
Eben and Anlia Are Parents of Two Children
The birthday celebration marks another milestone for the couple, who have two children together.
They welcomed their first child in January 2024, followed by their second child in October 2025. The arrival of their youngest meant the couple had two children under the age of two.
Couple Married at Western Cape Estate in 2023
Eben and Anlia married in February 2023 at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, in South Africa’s Western Cape.
The couple reportedly met through mutual friends in Melkbosstrand, Cape Town, in October 2021. They became engaged in early 2022 after dating for several months.
In February this year, Anlia marked their third wedding anniversary with a message celebrating their relationship.
“Happy anniversary to us..😊❤️🥂. Love you infinitely my husband! 04•02•23,” she wrote.

The birthday post attracted congratulatory messages from celebrities, fans and followers, who shared their well wishes with the family.
Marise Pollard, the wife of fellow Springbok Handré Pollard, wrote: “Congratulations dear Lia! Love you guys ❤️.”
