Furthermore, the DA alleges that the city has not paid Eskom in full despite imposing high rate increases on residents.

The DA confirmed its intention to formally table the motion at the programming committee meeting on 17 November 2023. They urgently call on the Speaker to schedule a debate and vote on the motion.
