Ronaldo officially became a dad in June 2010 with a son that was named after him – Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. The footballer did not share the details of the mother of his son is but it was noted that his son was born the same year he began dating model Irina Shayk.
“People speculate I was with this girl or another, or there was a surrogate mother,” he said in an interview with Jonathan Ross in a November 2015.
“When Cristiano is going to grow up, I am always going to say the truth to him because he deserves it, because he is my son, but I am not going to say because people want me to say,” he continued.
2. TWINS: MATEO AND EVA
The footballer welcomed twins Mateo and Eva via a surrogate in June 2017. This is the same year he began dating Georgina.
3. ALANA RONALDO
Ronaldo and Georgina welcomed their first child together – Alana in November 2017.
4. TWINS: A SURVIVING BABY GIRL AND A LATE BABY BOY
The pair announced that they were expecting twins in October 2021 but they announced that they lost one of the twins – their baby boy, in a joint statement on Monday 18 April.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” said the pair.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their expert care and support, we are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time,” they continued.
“Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you,” they added.
Ronaldo later announced that his baby girl and her mom, Georgina were home.
