At least 10 individuals have been hurt, three of them critically, following a Bronx junction collision between an NYPD cruiser and a group of pedestrians.

Around 3 p.m. on Thursday, the victims were hit near Hoe Avenue and Westchester Avenue in the Bronx. According to reports, three people had critical injuries.

Two police officers and the other nine injured people were all transferred to Lincoln Hospital and Jacobi Memorial Center for medical attention.

Unknown whether the two police officers who were transported to the hospital were in the vehicle that collided, a youngster is reportedly among the wounded.

According to the New York Daily News, their wounds are not serious.

When the car’s path was blocked by traffic while the cops were hurrying to a call for a larceny incident, the driver veered and struck people on Hoe Avenue and Westchester Avenue, according to NBC New York.

A horrifying photo taken at the site shows a shopping cart on the ground, crushed after being damaged by the cruiser.
