During a third-tier match in Mendoza province on Sunday, a football coach was shot in the shoulder as Huracan Las Heras fans fought amongst themselves, spilling violently onto the pitch.
Ferro coach Mauricio Romero was shot in the shoulder, according to sports newspaper Ole, when fans belonging to Huracan fought amongst themselves during the clash with Ferro De General Pico.
After bullets were fired following disruptions in and around the ground, the game, which was a third-tier match, deteriorated into anarchy. Since then, videos have emerged showing Huracan and Ferro de General Pico players scrambling for safety while other supporters fled the area.
