A busload of migrants transported from Texas arrived Saturday morning outside the official residence of Vice President Kamala Harris, as Republican Governor Greg Abbott continued to dispute with President Joe Biden over border regulations.
The bus, which apparently contained Venezuelan and Nicaraguan migrants, was abandoned in front of the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., according to NBC News’ Gary Grumbach and Fox News Digital. Women, children, men, and a one-month-old infant were on board, according to the news source.

It is the most recent attack by GOP politicians who have assailed the Biden administration’s efforts at the southern US border. Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis chartered flights to transport migrants from San Antonio, Texas, to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
And Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who began transporting migrants in April, announced that he delivered more than 100 migrants to Harris’ home in Northwest Washington, DC, saying, “The Biden-Harris Administration continues ignoring and denying the historic crisis at our southern border, which has endangered and overwhelmed Texas communities for almost a year.”
During an interview with VICE, the vice president criticized DeSantis and Abbott’s conduct, stating that “they’re playing games” and “these are political stunts with genuine people escaping danger.”
As previously reported by Insider, the migrants dropped off at Harris’ residence were transported to a local church.
