Love was in the air when Cameron Fuller decided to pop the question to Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor—and he did it in the most heartfelt way possible.
Instead of a grand public spectacle, Cameron chose an intimate and meaningful setting: a family getaway in the picturesque English countryside.
The Perfect Setting for a Proposal
Phoebe’s younger sister, Hattie Dynevor, recently shared the heartwarming details of the engagement at the TV Choice Awards in London.
According to Hattie, the magical moment took place in May while the entire family was enjoying a relaxing trip to the Cotswolds.
‘She got engaged at the Cotswolds, and it was so beautiful,’ Hattie revealed.
‘All the family were there, and she was crying her eyes out—but in the best way possible. It was all happy tears!’
Taking Their Time Before the Big Day
While the engagement was met with joy, it seems the couple is in no rush to walk down the aisle.
‘I’m not sure when she’s getting married,’ Hattie admitted.
‘Right now, they’re just enjoying being engaged. She hasn’t even started thinking about wedding plans yet!’
As for whether Hattie will have a special role in the wedding? ‘She hasn’t asked me yet,’ she said with a laugh, ‘but I really hope so!’
A Proud Mother’s Happiness
Phoebe’s mother, Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor, couldn’t be happier about her daughter’s engagement.
Back in May, she gushed about the exciting news, calling Cameron ‘gorgeous’ and ‘such a lovely man.’
‘I’m so, so happy. I’m thrilled—it’s actually made my year!’ Sally shared.
However, she made it clear she won’t be interfering with the wedding planning.
‘To be honest, I’ll be keeping well out of it,’ she said, leaving the couple to decide how they want their special day to unfold.
Looking Ahead: Wedding Bells and Maybe… Grandchildren?
While Sally is staying out of the wedding logistics, she’s already thinking about the future.
‘I can’t wait for my grandchildren, [although] let’s not jump ahead!’ she joked.
As for Phoebe, she’s been making waves since her breakout role as Daphne Bridgerton in Bridgerton’s first season back in 2020.
While she had a smaller role in season two and didn’t return for season three, fans—including her fiancé—are surely excited to see what’s next for the talented actress.
For now, though, she’s savoring this exciting new chapter in her personal life—with plenty of love and family support along the way.
