A child’s body who was believed to be around five years old was discovered hanging from a tree close to a school.

The child’s body was discovered on July 3 in Ntuzuma’s G Section. The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Ntuzuma is currently looking for the child’s family or any close relatives.

According to media accounts, the child’s body was in a decomposing state. Only until an autopsy has been performed will certain details about the child, such as the gender, be known.
