Bhopal: Help to complete remaining 2% vaccination, appeals CM Shivraj

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, declared that the remaining 2% of the population should be vaccinated. Madhya Pradesh has previously announced a vaccination rate of 98 percent.

He stated that the second dosage of immunization for teenagers in the state has begun.

The second dosage of vaccine will be given after a 28-day delay.

On Monday, around 2.5 lakh youngsters in the state received their second dose of immunization, according to state immunisation officer Dr Santosh Shukla. However, because schools were closed, youths could not be vaccinated in the city.

‘As a result, the second dose drive will begin on February 2 in the state capital,’ said Dr. Upendra Dubey, Bhopal district immunisation officer.

The overall vaccination tally in the state has reached 10,95,57,000 mark. First dose tally has gone up to 5,73,97,515 and second dose tally has reached 5,14,81,541 mark.
