He expressed shock at Mohbad’s death and the spreading of falsehoods and threats against him.

Naira Marley acknowledged past disagreements with Mohbad but emphasized that they had never reached a point of wishing harm upon each other.

Furthermore, Naira Marley revealed that he had been out of the country since August 31 but had been invited by the police, who are currently investigating Mohbad’s death.

He pledged full cooperation with the police and maintained that he had no reason to evade authorities since he had no involvement in the tragic incident.

In his statement, Naira Marley also refuted allegations that he is involved in drug-related activities or that his record label functions as a drug cartel.

He clarified that he had never engaged in physical altercations with Mohbad nor instructed anyone to harm or harass him after Mohbad left the record label in September 2022.
