In light of the news about Her Majesty’s health, BBC One has today cancelled all normal programmes until 6 o’clock.
Following a statement from Buckingham Palace on Thursday afternoon, Bargain Hunt was cancelled to alert viewers that physicians were “concerned” about Her Majesty’s health.

Today’s BBC One afternoon programming is now on BBC Two.
The well-liked lunchtime show, in which two teams are each allocated £300 to look for the greatest deals to sell at auction, was cut off on Thursday shortly before 12.40 p.m.
Twenty minutes before the 1 o’clock news was scheduled to start, fans were watching as one of the Bargain Hunt hosts joked about “the rain and the wet” while holding an umbrella over his head. Suddenly, the screen went blank.
Then Joanna Gosling, a BBC News presenter, emerged to break the news.
“Welcome to viewers on BBC One,” she remarked.
The Queen is reportedly receiving medical care in Balmoral, according to information from Buckingham Palace.
“Doctors are now in charge of her because they are worried about her health.”
‘It is thought she is comfortable and close family members have been notified.’
‘Following additional assessment this morning, the Queen’s physicians are concerned about Her Majesty’s health and have suggested she stay under medical monitoring,’ Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Thursday.
The Queen is still relaxed and in Balmoral.
The BBC declined to comment when questioned about the abrupt departure of Bargain Hunt.
