It’s the end of the road for Quadri Aruna in Singapore, following a 3-1 loss to Brazilian, Hugo Calderon in the quarter finals of the men’s singles at the World table tennis (WTT) global cup finals.
The 33-year-old Nigerian’s latest victory comes a week after becoming the first African to reach the quarter-finals of the ITTF World championship held in USA.
Quadri also lept in the ITTF rankings to number 13 in the world.
