NITDA and Coursera Learning Scholarships for Nigerian Citizens
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has entered into a collaborative partnership with Coursera, aiming to provide learning scholarships to Nigerian citizens.
These scholarships are designed to facilitate the acquisition of professional certifications from globally renowned tech giants such as Meta, Google, IBM, and prestigious US universities.
In this initiative, applicants are required to choose one certification program from each of the two defined categories (Category A and Category B) to pursue.
Category A: IT Career Pathway
Category A encompasses a selection of 20 professional certification programs tailored to kickstart a successful career in Information Technology (IT).
Each program is meticulously crafted, consisting of a series of interconnected courses.
These courses are designed to impart in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills crucial for employment in the IT sector.
Upon completion of individual courses, participants receive certificates of completion.
However, the coveted professional certification is earned upon successfully completing all the required courses within the chosen program.
Category B: Complementary Skills Pathway
For those seeking to complement their IT career skills, Category B offers four certification programs.
These programs aim to enhance participants’ proficiency in digital productivity tools, entrepreneurship, or freelancing skills.

Enrollment Process and Duration
