Anthony Koletti, Melissa Caddick’s husband, says he can’t find job

The spouse of the missing con artist Melissa Caddick claims his father has called him a toyboy, a pervert, and even an idiot.

Anthony Koletti claims that since his wife’s disappearance, he has been unable to find employment because potential employers believe he was either involved in Ms. Caddick’s Ponzi scheme or was responsible for her disappearance.

‘My father has called me a ‘arsehole,’ a ‘creep,’ a ‘f***wit,’ a ‘toyboy,’ a ‘handbag,’ and even’stupid,’ he stated in a 110-page declaration presented during the inquest into Ms. Caddick’s presumed murder.

During his testimony before the NSW Coroners Court, Mr. Koletti denied any involvement in her fraudulent activities.

In his statement, he stated, “I observed Melissa working hard every day (excluding weekends) while seated in front of screens with what appeared to be stocks moving up and down.”

I have observed graphs and tables. I saw digits. I simply believed that she was intelligent, competent, and very successful.

In 2005, the Sydney hairdresser and part-time DJ met Ms. Caddick for the first time as a client in his salon.

Before she moved to London with her first husband, she shared a restaurant kiss with Mr. Koletti.

In his affidavit, he stated, “We did not have any intimate contact at the time.”

I believe that Melissa fell in love with me, however. I fell in love in that instant.

The two then began a digital long-distance relationship, with frequent text messages and phone chats for over five years.

Mr. Koletti traveled to New York and Cyprus with Ms. Caddick in 2011, the same year she divorced her spouse.

He attributed inconsistencies in his answers before and after the inquest to “trauma” and “confusion.”

In his statement, he stated, “I rarely leave my house unless I have to, and I have lost a big number of acquaintances.”

“I have no idea what my future holds for me.”
