Anambra Governorship Election: APGA Amichi Ward Two Nnewi South Council Area Holds Fellowship To Celebrate Soludo, Ibezim Victory

In celebration of the victory of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, members of Amichi Ward Two, Nnewi South Constituency One gathered to fellowship and appreciate God and themselves for the emergence of the Governor-Elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim as winners of the recently concluded gubernatorial election in the state.


Correspondent, Ejike Abana reports that they gathered at the instance of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Media, Mr. Ikenna Anagboso at his Country home in Amichi.

In a remark, the Transition Committee Chairman for Nnewi South, Mr Chieloka Okoye appreciated the people of Nnewi South for supporting the APGA candidate, asking them to keep supporting him to perform better than the incumbent, Governor Willie Obiano whom he stressed broke the jinx in governance of Anambra.


While stating that APGA’s victory is for the good of every onye Anambra, Mr. Anagboso emphasized that Professor Soludo, having done so much all over the world, will do well, reiterating that Governor Obiano performed very well, even when the chips were down and deserves all the commendation, especially for his legacy projects prominent among which are the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, International Convention Center, among others.

The SSA expressed optimism that Professor Soludo will continue from the building blocks laid by Governor Obiano and commended Ndi Amichi whom he said voted like brethren, asking them to continue to extend  similar support and the right hand of fellowship for the development of Amichi in particular and Anambra State in general.


Speaking to the ABS, the Woman Leader of APGA Ward Two, Amichi, Mrs Caroline Mbonu of Okpokolo Amichi and the APGA Amichi Ward Two Chairman, Mr Augustine Ezebuluo, who spoke on their efforts of house-to-house mobilization for APGA, despite the security challenges, expressed happiness that the party eventually won the election in a keenly contested exercise.


Chairman of United Anambra Youth Assembly, U-AYA, Nnewi South, Mr. Nzube Ofomah, President General Ojiezeka Village, Amichi who is a stakeholder in Amichi Ward Two, Honourable Chuka Okafor expressed  their expectations of a more prosperous Anambra under the incoming administration, in line with the manifesto.

At the event, APGA uniform was distributed as participants made merry.
