The management of the Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, has announced the timetable and specifics of the institution’s 41st matriculation ceremony.

The 41st Matriculation Ceremony at Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, for the 2021/2022 session, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Polytechnic’s Multipurpose Centre, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the same venue.

Academic procession participation is obligatory for all graduate workers (Members of Congregation). Academic gowns will be available for collection at the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic) on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. for all graduate employees.

Students who are graduating are urged to get their matriculation gowns from their respective departments beginning at noon on Friday, September 9, 2022. The gowns would be collected upon presentation of a Student Identification Card, Medical Card, or School Fees Payment Receipt together with a refundable payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).

All gowns must be returned no later than Friday, 16 September 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Infringers will be charged an additional Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) every day for two days before disciplinary action is taken against them.
