Bandits who kidnapped 60 worshippers in Kaduna State are said to be demanding bags of rice and groundnut oil in order to feed the victims.
The kidnapping took place a week after the bandits invaded Emanuel Baptist Church in Kakau Daji, Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna.
On Friday, November 5, a resident of the village whose relatives are among those kidnapped informed the Daily Trust that the bandits called on Thursday night to demand food from the community.
The source said;  “We were told they called on Thursday night demanding for five bags of rice, four gallons of groundnut oil, ‎Maggi carton and salt that failure to provide these items it means the victims will not eat.
” Noting that the bandits seemed to be more concerned about the foodstuffs which they claimed will be used to feed the victims, he added that they kept saying that their victims will go hungry if food items are not provided,
