A video of a frail Zola 7 propels South Africans to donate him money

A video of a frail-looking TV personality – Zola 7 has encouraged his followers and celebrities to donate the star money.

The video has also sparked outrage from fans of the popular TV personality who demanded to know the intent behind the video.

Fans have criticised the person who posted it and are demanding his management and industry friend to check on him.

‘DONATE ZOLA 7 MONEY’

Fans of the TV personality Zola 7 – have requested his banking details so they can donate money and assist him with his medical bills after the viral video.

The video of him not looking his usual self went viral on Twitter yesterday (8 March).

South Africans have come out in numbers on Twitter and would like to honour him by donating money to his bank account.

The kwaito legend also made headlines in 2021 when it was revealed that he desperately needed financial assistance to cover the medical bills for his epilepsy.

The kwaito star was diagnosed with epilepsy four years ago and confirmed reports of the illness in his 2021 interview with MacG on Podcast and Chill.

“I lost a lot of weight over the past year. I was extremely sick, I was home and I was shaking.”

“Everybody around me was scared I was going to die. I couldn’t eat well. I was eating Mageu, porridge, and fish.”

A photo of the musician also made a Twitter trend list after a fan shared a photo of him looking frail and thin.

The photo of the actor had fans and his industry friends worried that he is unwell and struggling financially.

‘DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON SOCIAL MEDIA’

Zola 7 has rubbished claims that he’s ill and needs financial assistance on his Facebook account after the viral video.

His Facebook status reads:

‘Don’t believe everything you see on social media.”

His team also rubbished claims made by YouTuber Nota last week that he is unwell.

They informed TshisaLive that Nota was speaking rubbish and that he is fine.

“All those things he said are utter rubbish. He’s just trying to create hype over nothing.:

“The truth is Bonginkosi is fine. He’s got epilepsy. He is taking chronic medication for it.”
