A damaged white Toyota Etios was abandoned after it crashed into a tree in Oaklands

After crashing into a tree on Todd Street, opposite the Oaklands – KZN entrance, a heavily damaged white Toyota Etios was abandoned.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) members were on patrol when they stopped to investigate.

The vehicle was severely damaged, but the driver could not be found.

Reactions Officers were able to retrieve the owner’s phone number, but he has been unreachable.

The car was turned over to Verulam SAPS for further examination.
