Borussia Monchengladbach football star Jordi Bongard, 20, is dies in an accident

Borussia Monchengladbach have announced the death of Jordi Bongard after he was killed in a fatal traffic accident on Wednesday night.
Borussia Monchengladbach confirmed the tragic news of Jordi Bongard’s passing, cancelling scheduled press conferences and training as a result.
Bongard joined initially Borussia Monchengladbach when he was 12 and progressed right up to the Under-23s, as well as representing Germany at youth levels.
Borussia Monchengladbach issued a statement saying:
“Borussia mourns the death of U23s player Jordi Bongard, who unfortunately died in a car accident last night,” the statement reads.
“We would like to send our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
“Jordi will forever be in our thoughts and in our hearts!”
