It’s a joyful time for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancee Sarah Jane Ramos, who recently welcomed their second daughter into the world.
The couple shared the exciting news on social media, giving fans a glimpse into their happy family life.
Baby Aurora Rayne Joins the Prescott Family
On Saturday morning, Prescott took to Instagram to introduce baby Aurora Rayne, born on May 22, 2025.
Alongside a sweet photo of Sarah Jane and their children, he wrote, “Thank you God! Welcome, Aurora Rayne.
God is great. I love you Sarah Jane and the family we’ve created.”
Sarah Jane reposted the announcement with a heartfelt caption: “My everything.”
This newest addition means Prescott and Ramos are now a family of four, having welcomed their first daughter, MJ, less than 18 months ago in February 2024.
A Surprise Engagement on the Golf Course
Earlier last year, Prescott surprised fans by announcing his engagement to Sarah Jane.
The proposal happened during the Cowboys’ bye week on a golf course—a perfect setting since Ramos is an avid golfer.
Prescott recalled the moment with a laugh, saying she had no idea what was coming.
“She thought we were just going golfing,” he explained. “I told her we had a lifetime to golf.
I hid the ring inside a fake golf ball, dropped it, and she almost hit it. I’m just glad she said yes. We’re super blessed and happy.”
A Tough Season on the Field for Prescott and the Cowboys
While Prescott’s personal life was blossoming, his 2024 football season didn’t go as smoothly.
After kicking off the year strong—he even signed a massive four-year, $240 million contract—the season took a hit when he injured his hamstring in Week 9. Surgery in November ended his season early.
The Cowboys struggled without him, finishing with a 7-10 record and missing the playoffs.
This disappointment led to major changes in the coaching staff.
Coaching Shakeup and Looking Ahead to 2025
Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys’ head coach, was replaced by Brian Schottenheimer, who was previously the team’s offensive coordinator.
The decision wasn’t popular among fans, many of whom wanted a more experienced leader at the helm.
Now, with a fresh start, the Cowboys are gearing up for the 2025 season.
They kick off their campaign on September 4 with an exciting road game against the defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Following that, they’ll host their division rivals, the New York Giants, and then face the Chicago Bears.
