2023 Presidency: INEC publishes ‘Notice of Election’

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following the previous announcement of the coming activities in the schedule of the 2023 General Election published a ‘Notice of Election’ termed (Form EC 60A) on Monday, February 28, 2022, to each state of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

 
In compliance with Section 28 (1) of the Electoral Act 2022, which requires INEC to publish the “Notice of Election” in each State of the Federation and the FCT stating:
(a) the date of the election; and
(b) the place where the nomination papers are to be delivered; pic.

INEC confirms this move as required compliance with section 28(1) of the electoral act of 2022, and to authenticate the said dates and schedules as legally binding on all political parties and states of the federation towards the coming elections.
