2023: Monday Simon two others reject Guyuk- Shelleng APC primaries

Some aspirants in the just concluded All Progressives Congress APC House of Representatives primary election for Guyuk-Shelleng Mr. Monday Simon and Mr. Ayuba Bamaiyi have rejected the process of the election says they are set to present their formal complaint to the appeal committee.

They also caution the State leadership of the party to as matter of urgency look into their complaints to avoid crises in the party and called on their supporters to remain calm.

Speaking in a joined press conference the aspirants said the election committee arrived Guyuk, the venue scheduled for the primaries around eight o’clock in the evening without formal introduction, announced the suspension of the election as directed by top party official attributing it to insecurity.

According to them, to their suprised they changed the time of the election without their notice and was allegedly conducted in the midnight without notifying them as the aspirants adding that, they will not take it lightly.

The Aspirants complaint that only one aspirant present at the venue of the election whom they regarded as winner.
