The initiative extends a warm invitation to startups and entrepreneurial ventures dedicated to creating products and services that cater to crucial medical needs, enhancing women’s health, and promoting overall well-being.

Strategic Focus on Women’s Health: Targeted Therapeutic Areas

With a focus on diverse therapeutic areas such as gynecology, cardiovascular health, oncology, sexual health, endocrinology, gastroenterology, nutrition, autoimmune disorders, mental health, neurology, and reproductive health, the program aims to foster groundbreaking solutions in the femtech landscape.

Zcube envisions this initiative as a catalyst for innovation across various facets of women’s health.

Application Call Opens on International Women’s Day

The call for applications officially opens on Friday, March 8, 2024, aligning with International Women’s Day, and will welcome submissions until June 16.

Startups with pioneering ideas and the potential to make significant contributions to women’s health are encouraged to participate.

Investment and Mentorship Opportunities

At the culmination of the selection process, up to five startups will be identified to receive a substantial investment of €100k each through a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) agreement.

Additionally, the selected startups will gain access to an intensive training and mentoring program led by industry experts.

The program covers various domains including investments, business development, venture capital, intellectual property, regulatory affairs, and market access.

Global Partnership Opportunities

High-potential startups from the program may also have the chance to establish a strategic partnership with the Zambon group.

This collaboration aims to accelerate the market access phase and enhance commercial positioning on a global scale, presenting a unique opportunity for startups to thrive in the competitive healthcare landscape.

Successful Track Record and Expert Coordination

Building on the success of the previous four editions, which selected 46 startups from 23 countries, with eight receiving seed investments, the 2024 Open Accelerator is poised for another impactful cycle.

The initiative will be coordinated by a team of seasoned professionals in Life Sciences and Venture Capital, including Federica Destro, Vittoria Pavoncello, Michele Gaiotto, and Marco Gullà.
