Wike, speaking in Abuja on Wednesday, said the order was issued to change the city’s landscape and fight crime.
He acknowledged that religious organizations may need more time to complete their projects, as they rely on individual donations for funding.
The Minister reiterated that the order is not meant to target anyone or any group, and that religious organizations will be given additional time to comply.
