The man, much younger than his supposed double, was collared by a group of women who noticed the unmistakable likeness.

Everything from the shape of his head to that wide-mouthed grin gives us a spooky mirror image of the former president – and fair play to the bloke, he takes it all in his stride.

He poses for selfies with his new-found fan club, while bantering jovially about his appearance. We’d wager this is not the first time he’s been compared to uBaba, and he’s even caught the eye of an ANC minister.

Uploading the footage to his Twitter account on Thursday, Head of Transport Fikile Mbalula dubbed our lookalike as ‘Jacob Zuma Junior’ – a title we’re sure he will probably have to get used to hearing now!

uBaba’s daughter welcomes ‘imposter’ to the family

The living double already has a seal of approval from one of Jacob Zuma’s children, too. Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla took a break from stoking pro-Russian sentiments on her Twitter timeline this week to toast the viral sensation.

With tongue planted from in cheek, Zuma-Sambudla incited a laugh-riot on the platform: She suggested that this was the man who served JZ’s prison time last year, after receiving treatment in Cuba…
