In a shocking turn of events, a Washington couple who were set to marry has been arrested for separate murder cases in just a matter of days.
Both cases are allegedly tied to a violent, mysterious group based in California known as the “Zizians,” a transgender-led vegan trans cult.
Maximilian Snyder, 22, and Teresa Youngblut, 21, are now facing serious charges that have sparked a sprawling federal investigation.
The Couple’s Connection to the ‘Zizians’ Cult
Snyder and Youngblut’s arrest has raised a lot of questions, especially as investigators link them to the California-based cult, which is made up of highly educated transgender individuals who embrace a radical belief system.
The Zizians follow Jack “Ziz” LaSota, a leader who identifies as transgender and is accused of influencing followers to commit violent acts.
These include the murders of a U.S. Border Patrol agent and a witness in different states.
The Zizians’ ideology revolves around transhumanism, animal rights, and what they call “rationalism.”
Their beliefs have led to a growing number of violent incidents and disturbing behavior. Snyder, an Oxford-educated data scientist, and Youngblut, a University of Washington computer science student, have reportedly been involved in these shocking events.
Alleged Murders and Growing Investigation
The couple’s alleged murders include the death of U.S. Border Patrol agent David Maland in Vermont and the stabbing of an elderly man, Curtis Lind, in California.
Lind had been involved in a prior attack that saw him lose an eye and sustain life-threatening injuries.
Youngblut and Snyder were both involved in these incidents, with Youngblut reportedly shooting the border agent during a routine immigration inspection, leading to an exchange of gunfire that left two people dead.
Federal authorities are piecing together evidence from the case, including investigating links between Snyder and Youngblut’s communications and other potential suspects connected to the Zizians.
Surveillance footage, social media posts, and previous arrests are all part of the growing case against the couple and their links to the cult.
The Violent Attack in Vallejo, California
The connection between Snyder and the Zizians seems to go back to a violent attack in Vallejo, California, in 2022.
Lind, the victim, had reportedly threatened to evict tenants who failed to pay rent.
These tenants, Dao and Leatham, both believed to be part of the Zizian group, attacked Lind with knives and a samurai sword.
During this attack, Lind lost his right eye and suffered critical injuries.
Authorities are concerned about the potential for more attacks as they link these suspects to other violent incidents and unsolved murders.
Prosecutors emphasize the danger posed by members of the cult, highlighting that their extreme actions have led to tragic losses.
A Dark and Unsettling Cult
The Zizians are described as a group of highly educated individuals with a disturbing belief system rooted in both transhumanism and animal rights.
The cult also has strange beliefs regarding the splitting of consciousness, allowing one person to have two distinct personalities.
Veganism is central to their ideology, with followers showing an obsessive commitment to both their beliefs and violent actions.
Online forums and friends of those involved have raised concerns about the group’s dangerous nature.
Friends of the victims have tried to warn others about the cult’s potential for violence, but it seems to have only grown stronger, with Snyder and Youngblut’s involvement serving as chilling proof.
The Fallout and Arrests
As the investigation continues, authorities have arrested not only Snyder and Youngblut but also two other individuals, Suri Dao and Alexander Jeffrey Leatham, who are linked to the 2022 attack on Lind.
These arrests are part of an ongoing effort to dismantle the Zizian group and put an end to their violent and radical activities.
The growing network of individuals involved in these violent acts has caused concern nationwide.
With law enforcement piecing together a larger picture of this dangerous cult, it’s clear that Snyder and Youngblut are just the tip of the iceberg in an investigation that could expose even more chilling truths.
