Earlier today, the prime minister attended a narcotics raid near Lewisham, south London. However, during the raid, Mr. Johnson was unexpectedly surprised by a man filming the incursion.

A man begins filming himself and chatting to the camera, then exits the room.
He then enters a corridor where a smiling PM is flanked by officers.

This is the weird moment a man awoke to discover Boris Johnson joining the police during a dawn raid on his home.

This morning, the Prime Minister, who will leave office the following week, participated in a narcotics search with police near Lewisham, south London.

During the property raid, however, Mr. Johnson suddenly encountered a man documenting the intrusion on his smartphone.

The brief video begins with the man directing the phone’s camera at himself and stating, “Bro, how the f**k did I get raided and Boris Johnson is here?”

The man leaves the room, where Mr. Johnson is standing surrounded by officers in the hallway.

He says “Wagwan Boris” (Jamaican slang for “what’s going on”), to which a smiling prime minister responds, “Good morning, how are you?”

The Snapchat video is accompanied by the caption, “Ay naaaaa how can Boris Johnson raid the bando you can’t make this stuff up.”

The Prime Minister joined Acting Met Police Commissioner Sir Steve House to observe nine specialized officers conducting the intelligence-led, targeted operation to combat drug-related violence.

Officers discovered drugs and paraphernalia of the class B variety, as well as a suspected drug line phone, which is currently under investigation.

Boris Johnson smiled and asked the man, “Good morning, how are you doing?”

Mr. Johnson is spotted leaving the property this morning following a drug-related operation by the Metropolitan Police.

After the operation, Detective Superintendent Victoria Sullivan, the head of the Met’s South East Proactive Teams, stated, ‘Drug peddling causes irreparable damage to our communities.

“Disrupting the supply lines is essential to our efforts to combat violence, which is the Met’s top priority.” Strong connections exist between the two.

This is just one of the many enforcement activities carried out every day as part of our efforts to pursue line holders while also protecting the vulnerable individuals they exploit.

Our message to drug dealers is unambiguous: we’re coming for you.

Meanwhile, Mr. Johnson argued that his administration had taken severe action against criminals.

His statements come after the Daily Telegraph claimed that Home Secretary Priti Patel has instructed officers to focus on the fundamentals of policing.

According to a research by the Policy Exchange think group, the public believes that police are getting diverted by “woke” issues.

Mr. Johnson stated, “Look at neighborhood crime, which is the factor that most affects the quality of life for the majority of people in this country, and it has decreased by around 38% since this government took office.

I believe that is a commendable effort by the police, not just the Metropolitan Police but police across the nation.

And today there are around 13,700 additional police officers on the streets. That is beneficial; that makes a difference.

Mr. Johnson was photographed at a south London police station with Stephen House, the acting commissioner of the Metropolitan Police.

The Prime Minister observed nine specialized police conduct the intelligence-driven, targeted operation to combat drug-related violence in the area.

The Prime Minister cited the newly enacted Police, Crime, Sentencing, and Courts Act as an illustration of how his government has bolstered the capacity of law enforcement to combat crime.

More than 13,790 additional police officers have been hired in England and Wales, according to the government, as part of Mr. Johnson’s commitment to deploy 20,000 officers to the streets.

During the period between 2009 and 2018, the number of police officers in England and Wales decreased by more than 20,000, although Conservative-led governments were in power in England and Wales from May 2010.

Mr. Johnson stated, “Giving the police the authority to give offenders the harsh penalties they deserve also makes a difference, and that’s what we did with our legislation.

I am delighted to see that it is having an effect, but I am equally pleased to see the activism and vigor of the London police.

Yes, of course, we need to make our society even safer, but take a look at what they’ve accomplished: a 38% drop in neighborhood crime. That’s a tremendous accomplishment.
