Wagatha Christie trial latest: Rebekah Vardy ‘fame hungry’, Rooney slams ‘evil’ WhatsApp messages

The warring Wags’ £3million libel showdown will resume again tomorrow at 10am. The fifth day of the sensational trial was packed with all sorts of bombshell claims, including –

– Rebekah Vardy allegedly chose to sit closer to Coleen Rooney at a Euros 2016 football match. Her friends allegedly told FA official Harpreet Robertson, who tried to get them to go back to their original seats, to ‘f**k off’;

– Rebekah allegedly also got into another seating row at England’s World Cup semi-final showdown with Croatia;

– Coleen Rooney instructed her PR agent to find out if rival Wag Rebekah Vardy was behind leaks to the media after her ‘fake’ babysitting post made its way into The Sun newspaper;

– PR agent Rachel Monk said she had no idea the Wag was secretly working on her ‘Scousetrap’ sting operation, and described a ‘false’ story about gender selection in Mexico as ‘bonkers’;

– Coleen’s Wagatha Christie sting gathered pace while ‘naughty’ Wayne ‘misbehaved’ with a blonde barmaid during a 10-hour bender. She also kept her investigation secret, even from her ex-England star husband;

– The Wag said that a story based on her ‘fake’ post about a flooded basement in her Cheshire mansion prompted her to make her Wagatha Christie reveal the next day. She told the court that she penned the allegation on pen and paper first, before posting it on Instagram. She also denied writing the post as a ‘whodunnit’ in order to grab attention;

– Coleen blasted ‘evil’ messages between Rebekah and her publicist Caroline Watt, who is also accused of plotting to leak stories about fellow Wags and celebrities to the media;
