South Wales Police have issued an urgent appeal for assistance in locating Vivian Davies, an 87-year-old man who has been reported missing since the morning of Sunday, May 21.

According to the latest statement from the police, officers are particularly interested in speaking with a woman who may have crucial information that could aid in locating Vivian.

They believe she may have knowledge regarding an incident involving an elderly man who fell over on the cycle path between Cwmavon and Pontrhydyfen on the evening of Monday, May 22.

Vivian Davies is described as being of slim build with grey hair, standing at approximately 5ft 2in tall.

When last seen, he was wearing knee-length dark shorts and a long-sleeved striped top.
