2ND BATCH

3RD BATCH

Candidates are advised to visit the JAMB portal https://jamb.gov.ng/EfacilityLogin to (i)  Accept the admission (ii) Print the JAMB Admission Letter from the JAMB portal.

It has been observed that many candidates who were offered admission by UMYU have not done the needful. It is good for all candidates to note that admission is a process. All candidates need to upload their O’Level results (and A’ level in the case of Direct Entry candidates) on the JAMB portal.

The upload can be done at any JAMB CBT Centre. Only the admission of candidates who uploaded their documents can be processed further for the JAMB admission. Candidates must also accept the offer made to them through their personal JAMB portal.

Those who were offered admission with change of programme need to accept the change through their personal JAMB portal before their admission can be processed further; or on their own, initiate and change their programme to the one proposed by the institution.

Candidates are being advised to complete the outstanding processes (if any) as the university will round up the 2022/2023 Admission Exercise by the end of this week. Whoever failed to do the needful is at his own risk and stands the risk of losing the offer. Furthermore, JAMB will kick start the next session admission exercise by next week and there may not be chance for those who do not comply to regularize their admission anymore.

ALTERNATIVELY, candidates can also access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:

  1. Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.
  2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
  5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your admission status.

Congratulations to everyone who made the UMYU admission list for the 2022/2023 academic year.
