Tyreek Hill shares his admiration for Donald Trump while reflecting on Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl run in New Orleans

As the Kansas City Chiefs gear up for a shot at their third consecutive Super Bowl title, one former star is watching from the sidelines with mixed emotions.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was once a key playmaker for the Chiefs, can’t help but feel a little envious of his former teammates.

But it’s not just the chance at another ring that has Hill wishing he was still in Kansas City.

There’s another element to this Super Bowl that he finds exciting—Donald Trump will be in the stands watching the game in New Orleans.

Playing in Front of Trump Would Be “Awesome”

In an interview with Fox, Hill expressed his enthusiasm about the former president attending the game.

“That’s tremendous. To be able to play in front of Donald Trump, that would be something to knock off the bucket list,” Hill said.

“Not every day you get to play football in front of the guy who people respect and is at the top of the helm of this country.

I’ve always been a fan of Donald Trump, by the way. That’ll be awesome.”

Hill, now 30, spent six seasons with the Chiefs from 2016 to 2021, winning a Super Bowl before being traded to the Dolphins.

His move to Miami came with a massive payday—a four-year, $120 million deal, with $72 million guaranteed—making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league at the time.

Counting Rings vs. Counting Dollars

While Hill’s bank account has flourished since leaving Kansas City, his playoff success has not.

The Chiefs are on the verge of making history by becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowls, while the Dolphins have struggled to make a deep postseason run.

Last season, Miami’s journey ended at the hands of the Chiefs in the playoffs.

This time around, the Dolphins didn’t even make it that far, missing the postseason entirely.

The disappointment has been evident, especially for Hill, who has found himself in the middle of swirling rumors about his future with the team.

Staying Committed to Miami

Despite frustrations, Hill recently clarified his stance on his future in Miami, publicly apologizing to his teammate and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

“I don’t want to go nowhere,” Hill told Kay Adams. “I love it.

My family loves it. My kids absolutely love being on the beach every morning. So it’s an amazing thing, man.”

He remains optimistic about what’s being built in Miami under head coach Mike McDaniel.

“We are really building something special in Miami.

We made it to the playoffs the first two years.

Obviously, this year was hard, but if guys continue to buy into what Coach McDaniel is building and the culture that he’s trying to build, it’s going to be a beautiful thing, man.”

What’s Next for Hill?

While the Chiefs chase another championship, Hill is focused on the future.

He still has time to make a Super Bowl run with the Dolphins, but for now, all he can do is watch and wonder what could have been.

As the biggest game of the year approaches, Hill’s former team is on the brink of making history—while he waits for his next shot at the Lombardi Trophy.
