Two Men Killed and a Lady Injured in Two Shooting Incidents at Buffelsdraai, KZN

A shooting incident at two separate residences in an informal settlement in Buffelsdraai, KZN, resulted in the deaths of two men and the injury of a woman.

Medics from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the location at 00:19 this morning (Sunday, 19/06/2022) after villagers discovered the deaths of both males in their makeshift dwellings.

The body of a man in his thirties was discovered in a pool of blood when they arrived at the first house. He was shot four times in the head and body and died as a result of his injuries.

The second shooting took place about 50 meters away at a residence (picture 2). Two men allegedly forced their way into the house and opened fire on a couple who were sleeping.

Both of the female’s hands were wounded by gunshots.

Her boyfriend was shot in the head twice and on the back twice. He died as a result of his injuries. The Provincial Ambulance Service took the woman to the hospital.

The motivation for the murders has yet to be determined.
