What was supposed to be one of the happiest weeks of Manor Solomon’s life has taken an unexpected and distressing turn.
The Tottenham winger recently flew back home to Israel to marry his longtime partner, Dana Voshina.
But just days after their joyful celebration, the newlyweds now find themselves stuck in the middle of an international crisis.
Tied the Knot at Home
Solomon and Voshina, who have been together for seven years, held a lavish wedding ceremony at the luxurious Kahi Events Resort in Israel.
The couple shared sweet snapshots and clips from their big day on social media, smiling with friends and family as they danced the night away.
But while the festivities captured the love and joy of the moment, their return to normal life has been halted by something far more serious—war.
Trapped as Conflict Escalates
Shortly after the wedding, Israel’s airspace was completely shut down due to intensifying attacks from Iran, leaving all civilian flights grounded.
Now, Solomon and his wife are among those stranded in the country, unable to leave as violence rages in the skies above.
UK officials have also weighed in. On Sunday, the British Foreign Office issued an urgent alert warning citizens against all travel to Israel, citing the threat of missile strikes and disrupted infrastructure.
The warning noted that road travel may also be impacted, adding another layer of difficulty for anyone trying to escape the country.
Not His First Emergency Evacuation
This isn’t the first time Solomon has found himself in the middle of a conflict zone.
Back in 2022, when he was playing for Shakhtar Donetsk, he and his wife were evacuated from war-torn Ukraine after Russia’s invasion.
He later joined Fulham on loan and then signed a permanent deal with Tottenham in 2023.
Most recently, he spent last season with Leeds United, where he scored the crucial goal that clinched the Championship title.
Iran and Israel Tensions Ripple Worldwide
The wider picture is even more unsettling. As tensions between Israel and Iran reach boiling point, other players have also been affected.

However, Pakistan’s defence minister, Khwaja Asif, denied these claims and emphasized that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is strictly for defence and peacekeeping.

On Monday, Israeli military officials announced that their forces had achieved full aerial control over Tehran.
The conflict has already taken a heavy human toll. Reports indicate that at least 24 people have been killed in Iranian attacks on Israel, while Iranian sources say 224 have died in retaliatory Israeli strikes.
A Region on the Brink
The broader Middle East appears to be inching closer to a larger-scale conflict.
Rezaee issued a stark warning to the Western world, accusing them of backing a “rogue state” and suggesting that Israel’s continued military aggression could spark catastrophic regional fallout.
