The Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Jaji represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Platinum Jubilee on the throne and 96th birthday celebration organised in honour of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll by the Deputy British High Commission in Lagos.

Mr. Governor remarked that Her Majesty’s reign has been glorious, beneficial and impactful as evidenced by the prosperity of the Commonwealth, which has continued to promote democratic ideals and human dignity globally.

He also commended the Queen’s legacy of sutainaning a mutually beneficial relationship between the United Kingdom and Nigeria, noting that British citizens and Corporate Bodies have substantial interests in diverse sectors of the economy in Lagos State.

He congratulated Her Majesty on the twin celebration and prayed for sound health and peace of mind to continue to provide visionary leadership.
