Texas man killed by his own bullet after shooting woman

This past weekend, a guy who is accused of shooting a lady in the neck was murdered when the bullet also struck him, according to Dallas police.

Officers from the Dallas Police Department arrived late on Saturday morning to report gunfire at a local property. According to a news release, police discovered “a substantial amount of blood and a blood trail,” but the flat was unoccupied.

A local medical complex called the police at that time to report that a man and a woman with what appeared to be gunshot wounds had been discovered in a car outside. Police reported that although the lady survived and was later released from the hospital where the male passed away.

Police named the dead guy as 26-year-old Byron Redmon and determined that a domestic disturbance was the cause of the gunshot.

Police suspect Redmon shot the victim in the neck, according to early investigative findings. According to authorities, “the bullet then exited and struck Redmon in the leg.”

The inquiry is still being conducted.
