An American rapper Future has praised Nigerian singer Tems.

Future said that Tems voice connects to his soul.

Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer.

Tems who featured in Future’s “Wait for U” which debuted at No 1 on Billboard Hot 100.

Future, in a series of tweets, admitted that Tems spoke rather to his soul even though her involvement was minimal.
He said: “@temsbaby voice is amazing”

“Soon as I heard the @temsbaby sample over @atljacobzbbeatz instantly connected to my soul.”

Future added, “Even though wait for you is a sample and not an original recording I still put @temsbaby if u weren’t familiar with her work. Thank you Tems”.

Tems replied to the rapper saying, “Appreciate you! @1future.”
